Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy have kept mum about the divorce rumors surrounding their marriage all this time-until recently, when the "Blue Bloods" star finally broke his silence in an interview.
According to Boston Herald, Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy are not heading towards a divorce. He even called the rumors "complete garbage."
"Jenny and I just read this as we are laying together, cuddling, while watching TV - 'Rudolph (the Red-Nosed Reindeer)" to be specific," Wahlberg laughed. "Not only is any story of our marital strife complete garbage, but we have never been happier!"
Earlier this month, several websites claimed Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy are considering a divorce after constantly disagreeing on petty things.
"Jenny and Donnie fight constantly," Hollywood Life reported. "It's nonstop drama. He's had it with her refusal to act like a mature, responsible adult. He always tells her to grow up,"
Meanwhile, Celeb Dirty Laundry earlier reported that Jenny McCarthy was "tired" of Donnie Wahlberg's "alpha male act," which would result to a power struggle in their home.
"She won't let him take being strong father figure," a source said.
"The same things that drew Donnie to Jenny are the things that are driving him nuts now," the website alleged. "Jenny will get a tattoo or dye her hair just because and that really gets Wahlberg upset,"
On the other hand, some reports claim that Donnie Wahlberg's family - including his brother, Mark Wahlberg and his wife, Rhea - disapprove of Jenny McCarthy, contributing to the couple's marriage troubles.
"Multiple sources say that Donnie's family, including his sister-in-law Rhea Durham, Mark Wahlberg's wife, can't stand Jenny and they're not as close as Jenny makes it seem," Celeb Dirty Laundry reported, adding that it was the reason Mark and Rhea missed Donnie and Jenny's wedding.
"Mark and Rhea especially hate Jenny she talked about them and her relationship with Mark Wahlberg and the Wahlberg family on The Howard Stern Show," an insider added. "During her interview she spoke too soon saying Mark and Rhea would be attending their wedding and approved of their relationship."
Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy started dating in July 2013 after their first meeting in March 2013, during the actor's appearance on "The Jenny McCarthy Show."
