Manga and Anime fans are in for an amazing treat next year as the release date to "One Piece" movie titled "Gold" has reportedly been set on July 23, 2016.

According to Anime News Network, the upcoming film is going to be produced by the manga creator, Eiichiro Oda.

And while, the producer has yet to divulge the story of "One Piece" movie, fans have quickly speculated that it could feature the adventures of Gol D. Roger during his youth.

Based on the past two "One Piece" movies called, "Strong World" and "Z," many have come up with an idea that the new film will most likely follow the same path where legends from the past, Shiki and Zephyr, became the main focus of the movies.

The manga series began with the powerful statement from Gol D. Roger seconds before he was executed.

The speeach paved way to the world of the "Age of Pirates" and was used by series protagonist, Monkey D. Luffy as na inspiration to set sail and find the hidden treasure that the great pirate reportedly left behind.

No further details about the great Pirate King has been revealed since then.

In fact, it was only until Luffy's crew came to Skypiea Arc that they knew of Gol D. Roger's adventure in the same place.

That also marked the first meeting of the crew with Rayleigh, the vice-captain of the Roger Pirates.

And while fans are still waiting for the release date to find out the real deal of "One Piece" movie "Gold," many are somehow expecting and hoping that it will be about Gol D. Roger and his adventures.

Here are some fan theories:
