Fifth Harmony's new sophomore album is only getting some finishing touches before its release. In a recent interview, 5H member Lauren Jauregui confirmed that along with Meghan Trainor, and producers Max Martin and Dr. Luke, the group worked with singer-songwriter Tinashe for the highly anticipated album.

Spin, in its report, said that Lauren Jauregui has just revealed that Tinashe, known for her hits "2 On" and "All Hands On Deck," have helped Fifth Harmony in writing a couple of songs for their new album. Jauregui added that Fifth Harmony connects well with Tinashe because they have similarities in age and experiences.

"She has really sick melody flows and lyrics," Jauregui said. "It's very cohesive with us. It's drawing from the same experience. That's what's important at the end of the day: having an authentic sound and having someone who understands what we're going through."

Tinashe now adds to the list of songwriters who have helped Fifth Harmony make the best out of their sophomore album. Billboard previously reported that the group had sought the help of producers and songwriters including Max Martin, Mitch Allan and Jason Evigan.

The 19-year old 5h member added that while there is no official release date yet for their new album, she assured that it is coming very, very soon.

Jauregui laughingly said, "We don't want to make any promises, because we've had some situations in the past where our album release date got pushed and pushed and pushed."

"We don't want to disappoint fans, but it should be coming out in the beginning of the year. We're still working on it, putting final touches on it, making sure we've got all of the final tracks that we need. We're just starting that process now," she added.

Jauregui also said that there are few songs in the upcoming new album that she's really excited for fans to hear; she said that the new album is not just more mature, but also less gimmicky and that it sounds "more honed in on a sound."
