"Pokken Tournament" Wii U version release date in Japan has been announced.
The game will be bundled with an exclusive Wii U "Pokken" controller for approximately $300.
Though it can be purchased separately for $30. To keep it similar with the arcade's controller, there are "simple standard A, B, X, Y action buttons, two standard shoulder buttons, and a D-pad."
While the analog trigger was eliminated, ZL and ZR buttons, and Start and Select were placed at the lower part of the controller, SlashGear
As for its Western release, it will line up with its homeland's launch as previously announced. However, a specific date has not been confirmed by the game developer yet.
So, expect the game it may come "some time" in 2016, IGN reported.
Going by, some of "Pokken Tournament" characters have been revealed. First on the list is Shadow Mewto, which can be unlocked at the start of the game through an Amiibo card. It will be distributed at the game's launch.
Along with Shadow Mewto. new support "Pokemon" in "Pokken Tournament" Dragonite, Rotom, Togekiss and Victini will all be included in the game were revealed in the game's trailer.
As per "Pokken Tournament" latest news, there are a total of there are eleven main characters available as Pokemon fighters. These include Machamp, Lucario, Gardevoir, Suicune, Pikachu Libre, Blaziken, Gengar, Weavile, Charizard, Sceptile and Pikachu.
In addition, Bandai Namco also revealed on the game's latest trailer that Sceptile has been added as a "Pokken" fighter.
"Sceptile will use a variety of Grass-Type moves, including Vine Whip, Grass Knot, Razor Blade and Leaf Blade (the latter of which is Sceptile's signature move).
Sceptile will also be able to Mega Evolve in the game, increasing the power of his various moves," Comic Book wrote.
