Just recently, young singer Ariana Grande has been hinting on a new Christmas album.
Finally, the said album has finally delivered.
Grande's Christmas album entitled "Christmas And Chill" is actually an EP that contains five original tracks and an intro, according to Refinery 29.
If you, Ariana Grande fans out there, think that "Christmas and Chill" will be just one of those standard, run-off-the-mill Christmas anthem albums, then you might be wrong on that note. While there will be no cheesy tracks that will bring out the good vibes (e.g. "All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey), expect the tracks to have that Grande's signature bounce and swagger type of tunes.
It's a bit interesting follow-up to her 2013 Christmas EP "Christmas EP", and her 2014's "Santa Tell Me."
The 22-year-old singer took to Twitter to explain why such EP title, "lmao it made everyone in the room laugh... so i stuck with it ," she explained through her tweet.
MTV has made a breakdown on the tracks of Ari's Christmas EP and here are some of them.
A one-minute long intro sets the mood, while the R&B flavored "Wit It This Christmas" is said to be Ariana's favorite track of "Christmas and Chill," with a line like "Are you down for some of these milk and cookies?" really made the song irresistible.
In "December," Grande reminds us that Christmas is the season for giving, depending on how you interpret it.
Then, it is followed by strings-filled ballad "Not Just For One Christmas," then sultry "True Love" and ends the EP with "Winter Things."
The tracks of Ariana Grande's "Christmas and Chill" EP are available overseas but will be available for purchase last night at 9 pm, PST.
