Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn news reveal that the skiing star is allegedly worried that the golfer will try to reunite with ex-wife Elin Nordegren even if they have been dating for 18 months. It has also been reported that the athlete is preparing to return to the competition.

According to the Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn news published via The Hollywood Gossip, Nordegren has stopped dating Chris Cline, which is the reason why Vonn fears that it will only take a matter of time before Woods tries to ask the mother of his two children for a reconciliation.

Woods and Nordegren parted ways after the golf superstar was caught cheating on his wife several times, which led to a $100-million divorce settlement.

But since parting ways, the ex-couple have mended fences. Several Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn news reported that the couple and Nordegren were seen together in several occasion, including a baseball game where Woods' children played.

Meanwhile, Vonn also revealed in a recent interview that she is planning to return to competition in December in a tournament in Lake Louise, Alberta.

Vonn is rehabilitating from a second knee surgery after tearing her ACL for the second time in November while preparing for a December return. The 2010 Olympic downhill champion was forced to skip her title defense in Sochi.

The 29-year-old skiing champion said in an interview with NBC Sports that she will be cautious about her recovery this time to avoid another setback, saying that she is not planning to race until December, unlike last year when she started racing before her original return date.

"I feel like I need to be a little more patient," Vonn said. "I'm really excited to be back on snow. I have to contain my excitement a little bit and take things slower than I did last year. I feel really strong, but I shouldn't take as many risks in training as I did last year. I need to tone it down in training and then put it all together for the race."

Vonn, who is still eyeing to win another gold medal in the 2018 Olympics in Pyeongchang, has 59 career World Cup victories, and is on pace to break the 62-win record that currently belongs to Annemarie Moser-Proell.

"Hopefully this year I can get closer to that or break it, we'll see," Vonn said of breaking the record. "That's definitely one of my biggest goals in my career, let alone this season."
