Are we going to see a new Leonard Da Vinci? That seems to be the path that the show is taking once it returns on TV. In new Da Vinci's Demons Season 3 spoiler, show's lead star himself, Tom Riley, spoke about the new direction that the fantasy drama is taking. This shift is generally brought by the arrival of new showrunner John Shiban.

Riley sat down with Entertainment Weekly for an interview about his side gig with Doctor Who. There, EW somehow managed the English actor to speak about the third season of his own show.

Tom, where are you at with Da Vinci's Demons at the moment?

RILEY: Right in the middle. I'm in Swansea and I just finished a monster day, in more ways than one. But it's fantastic. We've got a new showrunner for the third season, John Shiban, who [worked on] the middle few seasons of Breaking Bad. So the show's kind of shifted away from what it was before into something new. But, yeah, we're right in the middle of it. It's deep! I can't see the end yet!

You can't blame Riley for his excitement with regards to the arrival of Shiban. Breaking Bad is one of the most successful shows in television history, capping off its five year run with five 2014 Emmy awards trophies. Having Shiban aboard would definitely give fans the chance to get to know about the relationship of Da Vinci and his mom who we last saw inside the ship of Ottomans in season two. Plus, we will also get to know more about Count Girolamo Riario (played by Blake Ritson), Lucrezia Donati (played by Laura Haddock).

"Put emphasis on character: It's one of the lessons I learned from Breaking Bad," Shiban said in a separate interview with Entertainment Weekly which tried to get more Da Vinci's Demons Season 3 spoiler on the show's set.

"That's why people tune in-because they want to get to know and go on a personal journey with great characters. So I think if we can get the word out to the fans we have to tell their friends that this show is going to become a great character drama, as well as a grand adventure, we'll get more eyes on it."
