An article on Screen Rant confirms Bryan Singer as the director of the upcoming X Men Apocalypse movie. Twentieth Century Fox has given 'Apocalypse' a 2016 release date.

X Men's James McAvoy sheds light on the future of his Character, in an interview with Huffpost Live. The "Wanted" actor didn't want to go into details in the forthcoming 'Apocalypse' movie:

"It seems fairly global, if we're talking 'Apocalypse.' Maybe it's just the character's name, but I think the nature of the movie is going to be fairly apocalyptic as well."

He also said that he might finally portray a Professor X sans the hair:

"I have no idea what's going on. I think I'm losing my hair finally... and yeah, that's kind of all I know."

IGN recently sat down with Michael Fassbender on his upcoming comedy 'Frank'. The '300' actor who also is slated to star in game-to-movie adaptation Assassin's Creed was asked if he will return as 'Magneto' in the new X men Apocalypse movie:

"Yeah, I mean, I haven't got a script or anything yet, but I'm always excited to see where Simon Kinberg's going to go with the next X-Men. X-Men's been great to me and allowed me to do so much, including films like Frank. I've had a lot of fun with the cast and with the character, Magneto. So I had a good chat with Simon [Kinberg] when we were on our way to Moscow, and we tossed around some ideas on the plane over there. So I'm pretty excited to see how it all comes together."

When asked where will 'Magneto's character go from here?' The actor responded:

"Well, I can't really tell you,'-- "I want it to be in the next one! I've had these conversations with Simon and there's a certain strand of his story that I think is pretty interesting and would like to explore, if we could."

Simon Kinberg, Screenwriter of the upcoming movie has revealed that the Four Horsemen, Apocalypse's brothers at arms are mutants Archangel, Exodus, Holocaust, and Selene.

The writer took to his Twitter and posted a message: "#Xmen #Apocalypse2016"

"I would say in terms of making any character decisions on 'Apocalypse' is, we set back the clock on 'Days of Future Past,' so a lot could have changed from that point in 1973 forward, meaning people could have been born earlier," Kinberg told MTV in a recent interview.

Archangel, who was played by Ben Foster in "X Men: The Last" is rumored to reprise the role in the new movie.

The X Men Apocalypse Movie will launch in May of 2016.
