Jeremy Renner sat down with Access Hollywood to discuss his upcoming projects "Mission Impossible 5" and "Avengers 2 Age of Ultron". The actor says that the much anticipated sequel will have a lot of secrets revealed (via Screen Rant):

"There is more time spent with all of the Avengers together as a unit on and off the clock, if you will, which is actually really fun. A lot of secrets are revealed and more secrets are posed."

In another interview with Movie Pilot, the 'Bourne Legacy' actor confirmed that most of the original cast will be returning in the much awaited sequel(via IBT):

I think most actors will sign on to do, like... Captain America 1-3 and then The Avengers 1-3, and then you're done. For me, I signed on to The Avengers 1-3 and then Hawk-Eye, in case they want to do a Hawkeye spin-off. It was fun to finally kind of discover who Clint Barton is a little bit,"

An article on Comic Book Movie (via International Business Times) speculates that the much awaited sequel can lead to a 'Civil War' plotline, raising tensions between Captain America and Iron Man.

The Avengers 2 plot has been revealed. The Synopsis for Marvel's much awaited awaited sequel can be seen over at Screen Rant:

"Marvel Studios presents "Avengers: Age of Ultron," the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth's Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure."

Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron" stars Robert Downey Jr., who returns as Iron Man, along with Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk. Together with Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, and with the additional support of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill, the team must reassemble to defeat James Spader as Ultron, a terrifying technological villain hell-bent on human extinction. Along the way, they confront two mysterious and powerful newcomers, Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen, and Pietro Maximoff, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and meet an old friend in a new form when Paul Bettany becomes Vision.

Written and directed by Joss Whedon and produced by Kevin Feige, Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron" is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series "The Avengers," first published in 1963. Get set for an action-packed thrill ride when The Avengers return in Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron" on May 1, 2015."

Along with the teaser trailer for "Age of Ultron" shown at the San Diego Comic-Con last July, concept posters for each Avenger member were also released. A character that didn't get his own poster is The Vision, played by Paul Bettany who long has been the voice of Iron Man's AI companion, Jarvis.

In the poster of Quicksilver, The Vision appears to be in the background turning away, fighting off Ultron's Machines.

A better look at The Vision in an Instagram post can be seen over at Screen Crush.

Other characters set to appear in the sequel include Scarlet Witch played by Elizabeth Olsen, who has been revealed at the end of Captain America 2 Winter Soldier.

Along with Olsen is her Godzilla co-star Aaron Tyler-Johnson who plays the role of Quicksilver.
