It seems that fans of the upcoming Steve Jobs Movie might not see the actual film after all.

This is due to the report that Sony has struggled to fit the film into its schedule after Christian Bale was reported to have dropped out of the cast. Michael Fassbender, who was another option to play the lead role had a packed schedule as he is due for filming for the X-Men franchise. According to Hollywood Reporter, Director Danny Boyle also has other projects to work on by next year.

While Sony and Universal Pictures seemed to be keen in taking over the project and making a hit movie, it is undeniable that they just alot on their plate right now, and have to do what they gotta do. Maybe we'll hear good news by 2016? Time can only tell.

As previously reported and previously assumed to be pushing through, the Steve Jobs Movie Cast is set to star Christian Bale, sources confirmed via Variety.

The biopic is based on the life of Apple's late Chief Executive Officer, Steve Jobs, who died of pancreatic cancer and left everyone in great grief. The movie will be directed by Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire, The Beach, 28 Days Later) and will be written by Aaron Sorkin (A Few Good Men, The American President, Studio Sixty on the Sunset Strip). The movie will also be produced by Scott Rudin (The Social Network, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, No Country for Old Men), Mark Gordon (Criminal Minds, Grey's Anatomy, Saving Private Ryan), and Guymon Casady (Hope Springs, The Killing Room, Paper Man).

The Steve Jobs Movie Cast news is backed up by Variety. According to the site: "Sorkin has publicly said the movie will be divided into three long scenes, each taking place backstage before one of Apple's famous product launches. 'The first one being the Mac,' he told the Daily Beast. 'The second one being NeXT, after he had left Apple. And the third one being the iPod. It's a little like writing about the Beatles, there are so many people out there that know him and revere him.'"

Also according to reports, Leonardo DiCaprio who almost bagged his own Oscar awards after his performance with The Wolf of Wallstreet, was another option before producers ultimately went with Christian Bale. Leo reportedly turned down the offer due to rumors that he wants to take time off from acting.
