The 14-year old action-packed shooting game will be having a new edition soon. As reported by Forbes, Activision and Sledgehammer's new "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" is slated for a release next month, November 4.

The new addition to the "Call of Duty" franchise, with three years of production time, is said to be the eleventh installment of the game series. The upcoming first person shooter game is set in a futuristic and apocalyptic setting where American soldiers fights against terrorism.

KVA, a terrorist organization will launch a global terror campaign in the year 2045. The terrorist group will attack urbanized and developed countries around the world which includes America. Many nations will be left unarmed after the massive destruction of their nuclear reactors. Because of this, Private Military Corporations, equipped with high-tech equipments, will be the armed force of several countries.

"Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's" main character will be Jack Mitchell, a one-armed former American marine that will work undercover with Atlas. Together with a group of highly skilled men, Mitchell will try to restore order around the globe.

Aside from a new premise and plot, Activision and Sledgehammer's upcoming shooting game will do away with the head-up display used in Call of Duty's previous editions. The game developer was able to develop a newer approach in informing the player through holographic projections from the weapon equipped. On the other hand, the traditional gun-play will be the same.

"Advanced Warfare" will also be equipped with an improved audio that is both engrossing and appealing to the gamers. Don Veca, one of the game developers, said "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" "goes through your body, into your bones, and your skull. You hear it in your ear, and it sounds completely different."

The gaming experience will also be improved with the new facial animating system and improved game set. The game publisher, Activision, said Sledgehammer was able to make a "near photorealistic" setting for the "Call of Duty: Advance Warfare." Another official also tweeted that a female soldier will be included in the upcoming game's Multiplayer.

Activision and Sledgehammer's latest addition to "Call of Duty" franchise is set to be available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in November 3, 2014 (Day Zero Edition) on North America, November 4, 2014 for international version and November 13, 2014 on Japan.

Gaming Bolt said the "Call of Duty: Advance Warfare" will need 48.84GB of memory for Xbox One and 42.6GB for PCs. The huge space needed is due to the improved animation, audio, and setting that will be features in the upcoming game. Meanwhile, PS3 and Xbox 360 version will be available for a lower file size as the visuals will not be as high quality as the other versions of the game.
