Casey Kasem's children have filed a new case against their stepmother Jean Kasem. According to According to a report from KJRH, the late radio star's second wife should not be entitled to get his $2 Million insurance money.

Casey Kasem's adult children from his first marriage - namely Kerri Kasem, Julie Kasem, and Mike Kasem - said Jean Kasem should not get anything since it was her neglect that led to the death of the former "American Top 40" host.

Just recently, a report from New York Daily News said Casey Kasem' children have pleaded with a judge for their father's corpse to be sent back from Norway to America.

The distraught daughter of the late radio star claims that Casey Kasem's dead body is said to be "rotting" at a mortuary in Norway. Jean Kasem is believed to have escaped to the said country to avoid accusations of elder abuse.

Kerri Kasem detailed that her father's second wife did not even have Casey Kasem's dead body embalmed before taking it to Norway.

In a declaration filed by Kerri Kasem in Los Angeles Country Superior Court and reported by New York Daily News, Casey Kasem's dead body has reportedly "decayed significantly" after being "left unrefrigerated for some amount of time."

"The body is decomposing, and probate code states that if the party with priority fails to bury remains, then the duty to bury can go to the next person on the list. So if a spouse doesn't act, then children or siblings can step in," explained the representative of Kerri Kasem and her group.

"I believe she's intentionally doing this because we obtained an order authorizing a private autopsy," the rep added, reported by New York Daily News.

The radio veteran's death has been surrounded by intrigues as Casey Kasem's children said their father was being kept away from them by their stepmother, Jean Kasem.

According to People magazine, the feud started after the beloved radio star became sick with Parkinson's and dementia, then eventually died last June 15 in Gig Harbor, Washington.

Kerri Kasem then sent a lawyer to Gaffney Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Tacoma, Washington, where Casey Kasem's body was confirmed by police to be missing.
