34-year-old actor Adam Brody, who is best known for his role as Seth Cohen in the hit television series, The O.C., had a chat recently with HuffPost Live last Thursday, November 13. The actor was asked a lot of questions about his former character as the young and adorable Seth Cohen, including whether he misses playing the beloved character to which he answered: He does not!

According to the Life Partners actor, "It was a wonderful time, but I'm significantly older," he told HuffPost Live host Ricky Camilleri. "I mean, maybe it's the equivalent of, like, 'Do you miss being back in college?' -- which I never went to, but...there are fun things about it. But that character? No. That was a character from 2004, and it's very much of that time...My interests don't lie there at all anymore."

Aww.. is that revelation too much for a former O.C. fan who remembers the much loved character of Adam Brody?

The actor also knows he will never really break free of Seth Cohen and it will always be embedded in him in the eyes of his fans. "Like it or not, I've been accused of playing him ever since," he admitted. "What can I say? My mannerisms are my mannerisms...I'm not gonna run from myself."

Brody went on to clarify that he is actually very proud to have been a part of the show, which had a very cult-like fan base. He said, "I think it's great. It's an honor to have been part of a story that meant [something to people]," he shared to the media. "It's funny, because I do so many things, and they mean something to me, and maybe they mean something to a few people. And this is like a story that I was a part of that I sort of share with a certain generation, and in that way, it's an honor. It's something I'm proud of."
