The Chinese tech giants are slowly dominating the Asian market as they produce smartphones with high-end features and way cheaper compared to Samsung, HTC and other phone makers.
Huawei Ascend Mate 7 Vs Xiaomi Mi4: These two phones were recently launched, and a real tough competitor among Android phones. Priced as a midrange phone yet packed with killer features.
Design and Screen
The Huawei Ascend Mate 7 features 6-inch screen which relatively large screen display, 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and has an 83% screen-body-ratio. The phablet is made up of 95% metal and will be available in three colors: Obsidian black, Moonlight silver, and Amber gold. It also the world's first smartphone to.carry a JDI IPS- NEO with negative crystal display that allows an ultra- high contrast ratio and it claims to have a 15 percent lower power consumption.
Xiaomi Mi4 shares the same resolution and screen display with its predecessor. It features a 5-inch Full HD display with a 1,920 x 1,080 pixel resolution and weighs around 149 grams. Xiaomi Mi4's dust and water proof exterior is also a great advantage.
Hardware and OS
The Ascend Mate 7 is also a powerful device like its rival, powered by an octa-core (1.8GHz A15 + 1.3GHz A7) Kirin 925 SoC with Mali T628 GPU. It runs the latest Android 4.4 Kitkat. There will be two variants: the 16GB variant will come with 2GB of RAM and the 32GB variant come with 3GB of RAM. Its external storage is expandable up to 32GB.
On the other Xiaomi Mi4 runs in a 2.5 GHZ quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and a 3GB of RAM. It also runs in Android 4.4 KitKat, but the Mi4 comes with the newest MIUI 6 out of the box. It also features a 16 or 64GB internal storage but lacks a micro SD support.
Camera
The Ascend Mate 7 sports a 13 megapixel camera with camera BSI sensor and LED flash. For the user's selfie need its front camera is at 5 megapixel and features a new panoramic effect.
The Xiaomi Mi4 sports the same megapixels on its rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and 8MP Sony Exmor IMX219 front camera.
