Pizza Hut announced that as part of its launch for its new P'Zolo foods line, they will give out free samples to passengers riding the Red Line Subway Train in Chicago, Ill., on June 7th, as part of their "Subway Takeover" campaign.

The new P'Zolo sandwich-like foods from Pizza Hut will come in three recipes, listed a press release issued by Pizza Hut on Monday, including meat trio, Italian steak and buffalo chicken. The P'Zolo will be available at Pizza Huts across the country for the retail price of $3 for one and $5 for a set of two.

"At Pizza Hut we're known for constantly dreaming up great new flavor experiences on behalf of our consumers," Kurt Kane, Pizza Hut CMO, said for the press release.  "When we took a look at the sub category we decided consumers needed us to bring this same approach to that space.  We think people are quickly going to see they can get a lot more for their $5 with the new P'Zolo.  It's more than a sandwich.  It's a new flavor creation that is leaving the sub category behind."

A pair of subway cars on Chicago's Red Line will be used to give away free P'Zolo's this Thursday, though locations throughout the line have not been announced yet and will be revealed on Pizza Hut's official Facebook page.

The three recipes for the P'Zolo, as listed in the press release, include: the meat trio with Italian sausage, pepperoni, ham, and cheese; Italian steak with marinated steak, roasted vegetables, and cheese; and the buffalo chicken, with all white meat chicken, buffalo seasoning, and cheese.

The heated P'Zolo, made by Pizza Hut as a new go-to for sandwich lovers, consists of melty meat and choose-filled foods, baked in a soft golden crust, said the press release, and sprinkled with Asiago cheese. Each P'Zolo will be served with a choice of ranch or marinara dipping sauce.
