A Walmart store in South County in St. Louis, Mo., was evacuated due to a customer bringing in a bottle full of methamphetamine on Thursday evening, said a report in St. Louis Today.

The woman in question, whose name was not identified by the time of the article's release, was caught shoplifting an item unrelated to the drug in question from the Walmart store, and upon inspection by store security, said St. Louis Today, was found holding a 20-ounce soda bottle filled with the dangerous drug.

"It had the potential to be flammable or blow up at any time," St. Louis County police Lt. Mark Cox told St Louis Today. "There are lots of one-pot cooks," Cox said. "But taking it into Walmart is very unusual."

The Walmart store in Missouri was evacuated by the local police at around 6:15pm local time because of the potential danger that could arise from the methamphetamine in the soda bottle. The store, located at Telegraph Road and Interstate 255, said St. Louis Today, was full of consumers at the time of evacuation. There were no reported injuries, said the report, nor were there any other harmful or dangerous substances in the vicinity. The Walmart store opened again later on Thursday evening, after full evacuation and inspection of the store and suspects.

The woman holding the methamphetamine, which Cox told St. Louis Today was only a "one pot" batch - a small quantity of the drug only enough for personal usage - was arrested, as was a male companion at the Walmart scene.

Cox told St. Louis Today that the suspect didn't appear to be trying to steal specific ingredients required to make methamphetamine, nor did it appear that she began to make the drug inside the Walmart branch.

Cox and his investigative team also found gas masks and other methamphetamine-related products used for the creation of the synthetic illicit drug, such as bottles of medicine, pills, and chemicals, listed St. Louis Today, from the suspect's car located in the Walmart parking lot.
