Just months after the release of its record-breaking newest flagship smartphone series, rumors about Apple's upcoming iPhone 7 has been around the web for quite a while now. After the Cupertino-based tech-giant surprised the world with its biggest handset, a lot has been said about its upcoming new device eyed for a 2015 release.

The latest among all iPhone 7 rumors is John Gruber's statement in his blog. Gruber, known for his close-to-reality predictions and rumors about tech devices, said he heard that Apple's new handset will be having the "biggest camera jump ever." It can be noted that the tech giant has not been keen in its device's camera. But with iPhone 7, Apple may have changed its mind.

"I've heard that it's some kind of weird two-lens system where the back camera uses two lenses and it somehow takes it into DSLR quality imagery," Gruber said. The possibility of his statement is strengthen with the announcement made by tha Japan-based tech giant, Sony, about its new 21MP smartphone camera sensors.

In terms of screen-size, iPhone 6 Plus had the privilege to be the Apple's biggest handset but that tag may be removed once iPhone 7 is unveiled. It is because with the massive sales of the large-screen phone, Cupertino-based company will more likely create a bigger smartphone.

Though the principle is against Apple founder, Steve Job's ideals, iPhone 7 is expected to sport a bigger screen compared to the existing iPhone 6 Plus. Screen resolution and even its built are also expected to be improved. Some also said the physical home button might be removed and Touch ID sensor will be included. If these appear to be true, users will be given better touch navigation.

Performance wise, Apple's iPhone 7 is expected to have a quad-core A8 processor which will be the trend of almost all high end smartphones next year, although there are still possibilities that the new handset may have a better one as well. In terms of storage capacity, iPhone 6 series already sports 128 GB internal memory so it is yet to see if Apple can make 256GB memory.

iPhone 7, with its better features, is also expected to be powered by a much better battery. News that points to a built-in projector has been running as well as Samsung Galaxy Beam has one already. Apple fans and critics is expected to be unveiled during 2015's third quarter.

With its rumored top caliber features, iPhone 7 will surely cost more than iPhone 6 series. With this in mind, customers may have to shell out around $649 up to $849 for a single unit.
