Looks like we have a live Christian Grey of Fifty Shades of Grey! Apparently, Ben McKenzie, star of hit series Gotham has recently opened up a little to Elle magazine regarding his thoughts on hot topics such as relationships and sex. One notable thing that we want to hear is his past experience with a pair of handcuffs.
When he was asked whether any of his female partners before had asked him to don a cop uniform to bed, he said, There's been a joke or two, but no one's ever really asked. Handcuffs have been brought." The 36-year-old O.C. alum continued, "And that's fun. As long as they're not actual real ones where you can lose the key. You want the obviously not real ones. The pink fluffy ones."
McKenzie's sex life has not been so active before. He said to an interview with Elle, "And that line is definitely having bunk beds as a 22-year-old." when he was just living in his first New York apartment.
A few years later, when McKenzie landed a big role on The O.C., he said, "Honestly, it was great to be able to take a girl out to a nice meal. I like the idea of old-fashioned dating, which at this point is almost heretical. People are genuinely surprised when you ask them out." The hunky actor seemed to have a romantic side but he also admitted to Elle that his exes might actually describe him as "stubborn" and "maybe a little detached" person. He continued that he wishes he had listened more. "Get over your ego a bit. Listen to a different perspective and you almost always modify your position and realize you're probably too dogmatic, too competitive, too jealous, too frustrated. I love women for being able to knock that s--t out of you."
