Samsung's Galaxy Note series has been the trend setter of large screen phones, as the Cupertino tech firm revamped its iPhone series with bigger screens.

Thus, another phone manufacturing company is rumored to follow the phablet trend and will incorporate Samsung Galaxy Note 4's stylus pen.

New rumors suggest that the upcoming LG G4 will have its own G Pen onboard that will offer data storage and wireless transfer of information.

These LG G4 rumors are supported by reports that the Korean tech firm has filed an LG G Pen patent with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and that hinted us that the company is on the works with its new flagship that will feature the LG pen. Though its functionalities are still undisclosed

Meanwhile, Android Authority claims LG has discontinued its plan on the G Pro line, as the upcoming LG G4 steals the spotlight.

On the other hand, other rumors suggest that the LG G4 will surely feature a major upgrade of the G3. According to the REM the LG G4 may sport a 5.7 inch HD -IPS +LCD display, a larger internal storage of 32GB or 64Gb, and a higher RAM of at 3GB. If the upcoming phablet will feature a 4K resolution, it is expected that LG has improved its batter life.

A Qualcomm Snapdragon 801/802/805/808 processor that clocked at 3GHz may keep things run smoothly and will be shipped with the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop. iKnow Today also added that the LG G4's screen might be protected by either sapphire crystal glass or Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

Design and Trends also noted that we might be seeing another upgrade on its camera.

"LG also unveiled a camera module last month at a Korean electronic shows that offers 20.7 megapixels and updated optical image stabilization tech, which would give the next flagship a major advantage over its predecessor in megapixel count (the G3 packs a 13-megapixel) and improved results in low-light conditions."

If these speculations are true, the upcoming flasghip will be a tough rival among all mobile platforms in 2015. The LG G4 is also rumored to make its first appearance at CES or at MWC.
