Zack Snyder's "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" is undoubtedly DC's most anticipated release in 2016 as it will introduce new characters and storylines that will pave the path to the first "Justice League" film in 2017.
As many know, filming for "Dawn of Justice" finished late last year and has been in its post production phase for a while now. Naturally, fans have been clamoring to see the first official trailer of the crossover film, adding to the exclusive footage seen in San Diego's Comic-Con in the past year.
Recently, reports have attached the trailer to "Jupiter Rising," the Wachowski's sci-fi action that starred "That 70's Show" alum Mila Kunis and "22 Jumpstreet" actor Channin Tatum. Adding to that, it was also expected to have a spot in Super Bowl XLIX.
To no avail, the movie's trailer hasn't dropped in both Jupiter Rising's weekend and the football event.
Various reports now claim that "Mad Max: Fury Road" is the next choice for the "Dawn of Justice" trailer to premiere with. "Fury Road," which is also under Warner Bros. has long been a dormant title and was just greenlit by the studio fairly recently.
The movie has already premiered its own trailer, featuring Tom Hardy playing the lead character Max Rockatansky. Hardy is co-starred by Nocholas Hoult, Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough, Hugh Keays-Byrne and Charlize Theron. The reboot is directed by the original "Mad Max" director George Miller.
"Mad Max: Fury Road" releases in theaters on May 15.
"Batman V Superman" releases on Mar. 25, 2016, it will introduce Ben Affleck as the new Batman, Jason Momoa as "Aquaman," Gal Gadot as "Wonder Woman," Henry Cavill will however reprise his role as Superman.
Also reprising their "Man of Steel" roles are Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White and Diane Lane as Martha Kent.
