The official "Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" teaser trailer has been released.

This is not just another movie to watch out for. It will be DC Comics' flagship film that will rival those that have been produced by rivals Marvel. DC and Warner Bros have announced an array of titles for their cinematic universe and the "Batman vs Superman" story is the first and biggest one.

While the "Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" teaser trailer turned heads, Stan Lee thinks it will take more of it for DC to be able to replicate his Marvel's success.

The legendary comic writer and superhero creator was at the Gillette/ Stark Industries event and there, he was asked about the movie that will star Ben Affleck as Batman and Henry Cavill who will reprise his role from "Man of Steel."

"DC, of course, is trying to catch up to Marvel," Lee told Postmedia Network exclusively.

"More power to them. It's good if everybody does well, but they're certainly starting from a ways back. They have a lot of catching up to do. But (the problem is) Marvel has so many heroes. DC just has Superman, Batman and maybe Wonder Woman. Perhaps they'll use The Flash. Green Lantern wasn't very successful, but we'll see."

DC Comics and Marvel rivalry has been going on ever since the two rose to prominence. However, it is only in the recent years when Marvel made a big noise with the success of its several movies like "Iron Man," "Avengers" and "Captain America."

For DC, it made it presence felt in the big screen through the "Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" teaser trailer.

"Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be released on March 25 next year. Aside from Affleck and Cavill, it will also star Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter and Gal Gadot. BvS is connected to other upcoming DC films like "Wonder Woman," "The Flash," and "Justice League Part 1 and 2."
