While ASAP Rocky's new album is reportedly going to be released on May 12, the famous rapper has debuted his new song and video called "The Beauty and The Beast" at Tribeca Film Festival for his acting debut movie titled, "Dope."

According to Hot New Hip Hop, ASAP Rocky who sat down with Elliott Wilson to partake in the latest segment in his "CRWN" series, talked about his new album, "At.Long.Last.A$AP" and at the same time release his new single, which can be watched in the linked above.

After he surprised fans that his follow up album to his 2013 Billboard 200 No. 1 record, Long.Live.ASAP is already done during an interview with Billboard, HITS Daily Double immediately revealed the release date of his highly anticipated sophomore album.

"Honestly, it's finished," Rocky revealed last month. "I'm mastering it right now. It's coming soon. Seriously soon."

"I'm claiming ownership of my legacy," the Harlem rapper previously told GQ of his new album. "Look at it:At.Long.Last.A$AP. A-L-L-A. Like slang for 'Allah.' It's the return of the god MC. I'm named after Rakim, and I'm finally facing what it means: I was born to do this shit. And I hope I get to do it for a very long time."

And while other artists are working on gimmicks for their fans, ASAP Rocky believes that his new album is enough to surprise his fans.

"I don't consider it a surprise -- you put it out there and it's art, that's the surprise," he explained. "I hope people are surprised by my album. I don't know what to expect, I just do what I do."

He also teased that his new album will feature a collaboration with Robert Pattinson's British girlfriend, FKA Twigs.

"I got one for you, he teased" [Long pause] Illz is thinking right now, like, 'You know who it is!' Uh... [Long pause] Alright, fine. Three years ago, I did a song with Twigs."

Furthermore, he also mentioned other artists who has collaborated with him with "At.Long.Last.A$Ap" album.

"Also Lykke Li. Juicy J [who appears on single "Multiply"]. Clams Casino. I can't give nothing else away."

And as for what fans could expect in his new album, ASAP Rocky promised fans that this time around it will be more musically and intectually inclined. Is it as if he's saying that the upcoming record would be more serious as compared to his debut album.

In conclusion he promised his fans that his new album will feature the "deeper side, the more musical side" of him as compared to his previous album.

"People really don't know the other side of me," the 26-year-old rapper explained. "The deeper side, the more musical side, the more intellectual side. When I first came on the scene it was more of this trendy, bourgeois, pizazz attitude. That's still me but at the end of the day I think that kind of overshadowed the whole purpose of me doing what I do. I'm an incredibly diverse artist, I'm a universal artist. At least that's how I see it."
