"Vikings" season 4 release is yet to be revealed but when the pilot arrives, fans do not have to go that far in remembering what transpired the season before.

Season four, according to the History Channel TV series cast will pick up shortly from where it left off.

The trailer for "Vikings" season 4 was released during the San Diego Comic-Con and in it are bigger battles, a friend getting punished, and a wedding. No battle would probably bigger than the one Rollo (Clive Standen) is going to face.

Talking to Entertainment Weekly during the Comic-Con Bash, Standen said his character is up for a rude awakening once the "Vikings" season 4 release date comes because of his decision to join Paris, specifically by marrying the French city's princess.

"I don't think he really realized that the French people, the last time they saw him he was the crazy bear with his top off ransacking Paris," Standen said. "He thinks this is going to be an easy ride, and then we've all seen how he reacted to Gisla's speech. He hasn't got a clue. He doesn't even speak the language. There's no going back."

In season three, Rollo somehow managed to earn back the trust of his brother and leader Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel) after betraying them.

In "Vikings" season 4, he will have to spend his time away from them again. The worse part of it is returning might not be an option and this decision of his will completely change him.

"We're going to see a completely different Rollo, if he's ever going to conquer Paris and conquer the princess," Standen said. "He has to be far more cerebral, he has to be on his A-game all the time, and his attitude to Ragnar has to change. He can't always be in the doldrums of being this second-best brother that's in the shadows."

"Vikings" season 4 release date is expected to be announced in a few months.
