'NBA 2K16' Pre-Orders To Give Out 10,000 VC! Michael Jordan Special Edition Release Happening

2K Sports has finally announced "NBA 2K16" officially.

In line with its announcement, the giant gaming studio has also released pre-orders for the game, which will reportedly include amazing bonus features and a Michael Jordan special edition cover set.

Major Nelson reported that 2K Sports has already started accepting pre-orders that would feature an "Early Tipoff Weekend" the would allow gamers to play the game on Sept. 25 prior its actual release.

In addition, gamers who pre-ordered "NBA 2K16" would be given amazing bonuses that include 35,000 VC for "NBA 2K15," 10,000 for "NBA 2K16" and a MyTEAM VIP complete Emerald packs guaranteed with an Emerald player.

As if it's not enough, 2K Sports is generous enough to include a limited Michael Jordan Special Edition release which would "include 'NBA 2K16' and additional in game rewards: Digital Jordan shoes for your MyPLAYER; Jordan T-shirt for your MyPLAYER; Jordan Jersey for your MyPLAYER; 30,000 Virtual Currency; MyTEAM VIP+ Packs, featuring 3 Emerald Packs AND a new Special Edition Exclusive Moments Card."

With director Spike Lee on board, Visual Concepts vice president of sports development, Jeff Thomas revealed to The Denver Post that MyCareer mode will be featuring an all new storyline for "NBA 2K16."

"It wasn't a hard sell," Thomas revealed. "Spike was really receptive when I first met with him. He actually said to us, 'It's about time I worked with 2K.' He loves basketball, and this is a new frontier for him."

"We make an E-rated game," Thomas talked about the game being available for all ages. "It's an NBA licensed project and obviously the NBA cares a lot about their brand and makes sure we stick within those boundaries. Spike understood that from the get-go, but he didn't take his foot off the gas because of that. He still brought the drama."

"NBA 2K16" is available for pre-orders, which will arrive on Sept. 25 while the actual release is happening on Sept. 29. The basketball-themed game will be made available in all platforms including PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and for the PC.
