Square Enix announced its lineup for the upcoming Gamescom 2015 happening in August in Cologne, Germany, Gematsu reported.

And while it hasn't reveal any information about a PC release date to "Final Fantasy XV," fans and experts are hoping if not expecting that the giant gaming company has listened to fans' request.

"'Final Fantasy XV' - The 'huge stage' of Square Enix's booth is all about 'Final Fantasy XV.' Visitors will be treated to 'a number' of stage presentations with many well-known guests and new insights into the upcoming game. Select fans will also get the chance to play 'Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae 2.0' at the booth. More information regarding the 'Final Fantasy XV' stage schedule will be announced in the coming weeks."

Square Enix will reportedly make "more new announcements and reveals at Gamescom 2015," which could surprise fans.

And while Square Enix did not close its doors to releasing "Final Fantasy XV" at PC, fans have launched a petition for the game to be released in the said platform, which can be seen in Change.Org.

"It's been a long time since we have seen a Final Fantasy game on the PC," the petition read. "With this petition, us PC gamers hope that Square Enix will have a good reason to revive Final Fantasy on PC since it is being developed on PC with DirectX 11."

IB Times reported that the Japanese video game developer could have just listened to the fans' cry, hinting that "Final Fantasy XV" is indeed coming to PC.

"A teaser demo of Final Fantasy XV has been shown off, hinting that a PC version is in the works," the publication claimed.

Adding, "'Witch - Chapter 0,' was played to show off the capabilities of Windows 10 and in particular DirectX 12, which Microsoft said is capable of compiling six times more polygons than DirectX 11."

Kpopstarz on the other hand added that the demo's graphics seemed to be looking compatible with PC requirements.

"The trailer and gameplay demo of 'Final Fantasy XV' shows that the quality of the graphics of the video game for the next-gen gaming consoles has improved over its predecessors, the publication claimed. "Square Enix will reportedly use Luminous Studio graphics technology to improve the graphics quality even further."
