"Dying Light" fans will receive free DLC through Techland's "Drink for DLC" campaign.

The campaign was first announced in June encouraging players to stay hydrated.

"Dying Light" players drinking water have reached over 15M hashtags and over 15,000 photos on social media. In return, Techland promises to give away free DLC.

According to the game developers, the "Drink for DLC" campaign is a three-part DLC that includes "The Fountain of Youth" exploit the Old Town area; Water 2.0 "let players create a new throwable weapon that intensifies the electrocution effect of other weapons," and two water themed parkour challenges, IGN reported.

The DLC will be released along with "Dying Light Enhanced Edition." This edition of the first person survival game will be bundled with all previous DLCs and priced higher at $59.99.

However, players who already purchased the game and its Season Pass will get the "Drink for DLC" and enhanced edition for free.

"We didn't want to follow a beaten track and just re-release our game in a new wrapping with the current DLC added on. That's why for the last half year we've been working on a ton of enhancements that we're now going to make available to everyone," Lead Designer Maciej Binkowski said.

"We're adding bonus post-game content, a Nightmare difficulty level, nearly 100 new animations, new NPC models, advanced AI behaviors, and more. One year after the original release, Dying Light will be even bigger."

In addition, "Dying Light: The Following Enhanced Edition" bundle also include a Bozak Horde mode, Be the Zombie mode, Ultimate Survivor Bundle, Cuisine & Cargo challenge missions, all contents update and a built-in season pass for additional content, Game Revolution reported.

"Dying Light: The Following Enhanced Edition" and its free DLC will be released on Feb. 09 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
