AMC, the production company responsible for both Breaking Bad and Walking Dead posted a photo of Aaron Paul along with Norman Reedus on Walking Dead's official Facebook page captioned: "Are we dreaming right now?" setting off waves of speculations among fans of both shows.
Paul, 34, or more popularly know as "Jesse Pinkman" in Breaking Bad has steadily been appearing in Reedus' Instagram as the two are both filming in Atlanta for a movie titled "Triple 9". Coincidentally, the rest of the Walking Dead cast is in Atlanta filming a fifth season of the zombie apocalypse thriller. While none of the rumors circulating has been confirmed yet, it can be speculated that Aaron might appear in a cameo role as Walking dead is also know for having celebrity zombie cameo's in past seasons.
Other reports suggest that this could be a possibility as a number of Breaking Bad Easter Eggs have appeared in Walking Dead episodes, namely Merle's drug stash containing blue meth.
Meanwhile, Norman Reedus and fellow cast members have been filming scenes in a number of locations in downtown Atlanta., including a scene involving a van going off a site of an overpass have been reported. In the season 5 trailer shown at Comic Con 2014, an Atlanta skyline can clearly be spotted. In the forthcoming season, the group fights off zombies and each other with a plan on going to Washington, D.C. to find answers of the zombie outbreak.
Also during the event, the cast and crew revealed that the show would be aired in 2 segments, the first 8 episodes, and the remaining installments of season 5 in February of the following year.
Whether or not Aaron Paul could be fighting zombies, joining Reedus and the group in the upcoming season, it is evident that the two actors have become good friends over the summer.
AMC's Walking Dead Season 5 is set to premiere on October 12,2014.
