Lady Gaga news announced that the "Cheek To Cheek" singer is set for a New Year's Eve party in Las Vegas, where she will perform with jazz icon Tony Bennett.

According to a report from Toronto Sun, the unlikely duo will be ringing in 2015 at a New Year's Eve party to be held at The Cosmopolitan casino.

The two recently collaborated for a jazz project entitled "Cheek To Cheek". The said album recently topped the US charts, said Toronto Sun.

The 28-year-old music sensation expressed her excitement over the New Year performance. She said: "I can't wait to kick off 2015 cheek to cheek with the legendary Mr. Tony Bennett."

Lady Gaga added, reported by the news publication: "New Year's celebrations are about cherishing family, friendship, and the future - three things this man has taught me much about."

Just recently, Lady Gaga news reported by NME.com said the pop-turned-jazz singer wants to experiment with rock music.

The international singing sensation narrated that she was in a classic rock covers band back in high school. "At the same time I was in jazz band in high school and doing jazz state competitions," Lady Gaga recalled.

The signer went on: "We were called Mackin' Pulsifer. I have a real passion for Robert Plant's vocals, Led Zeppelin was a huge inspiration for me."

Lady Gaga then revealed, reported by NME.com: "I'm certain that side of my musicianship will seep through the pores of music in the future."

Earlier Lady Gaga news also reported that the singer will soon release a follow-up to her "Artpop" album. According to NME.com, the controversial musician mentioned back in 2012 the possibility of an "Artpop" album sequel while planning out a "commercial" version of the record.

The singer reportedly got distraught following mixed reviews from her first Artpop Album. ''Six months ago I didn't even want to sing any more. I was so sad. I couldn't sleep. I felt dead," Lady Gaga said, reported by Parade.
