The answer is in the form of the latest addition to the channel's line up, which is "Self Promotion". This is a pilot work of MTV's very own Zach Braff, who will also be directing the show.

According to Deadline, Alexandra Krosney, who has been part of the "Last Man Standing" cast, but not in a major way, has finally been able to secure a critical part in the upcoming "Self Promotion" TV Series. In fact, her role in the show is the most important - she has been given the task of portraying its lead. Her character, named Katie Preston, is basically an overworked assistant.
The show will have viewers follow the life of Preston, who will soon find out that her female boss is nowhere to be found. After this, the life of the protagonist soon becomes a whirlwind of unfortunate events, as it was only logical for her to think that she will be the first person authorities will put under the microscope and consider the prime suspect, Deadline reports. It was because of this idea that she decided to cover up what she thought was the "crime scene."
Deadline has also shared a few more details about MTV's newest dark-comedy series. According to them, Preston, after the disappearance of her employer, will begin to act as "the boss." She will also do her best to determine what really took place in the hopes of finding the true killer and extricating herself from the mess.
Aside from Alexandra Krosney, Shameless' Nicole Bloom has also been chosen to be part of the 'Self Promotion" cast. Bloom will be playing the role of Winter, who is Preston's roommate, according to Digital Spy.
