Tyson Foods, Inc. has announced in a press release that it plans to discontinue operations at two of its prepared foods plants that will affect approximately 880 people. The meat processing company said that the closure is part of its efforts to improve the overall performance of its prepared foods business.

Entergy Corporation, an integrated energy company engaged primarily in electric power production and retail distribution operations, will be closing down its Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station in Plymouth, Massachusetts no later than June 1, 2019, according to a press release issued by Entergy. The closing down of the nuclear power station is due to poor market conditions, increased operational costs, and reduced revenues.
The Kentucky Health Cooperative, a member-governed non-profit organization that is dedicated to making health insurance available for all Kentuckians, is going out of business according to a report from Central KY News. The Kentucky Health is going out of business due to losing so much money and the U.S. Congress cutting its subsidies to insurers who wound up with a costlier group of policyholders under the federal health-reform law.
