After three years of development, Sledgehammer has finally revealed release dates for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare!

Call of Duty: Advance Warfare is the eleventh major installment of the famous Call of Duty franchise. It's a first-person shooter video game developed primarily by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision.

The story will start in year 2054, where a terrorist organization known as the KVA initiates the first global terrorist attack among urbanized countries around the globe, including the United States, by rapidly destroying their nuclear reactors. Many are devastated and the military is powerless to fight the KVA. And as a result, private military corporations (PMCs) have become the main armed forces for countless nations. Jack Mitchell (Troy Baker), a former U.S. Marine who lost his left arm during the battle in Seoul, joins the Atlas Corporation-- world's most powerful private military company with the most advanced technologies on the planet-to execute undercover operations across the globe for the highest bidder, under Jonathan Irons' (Kevin Spacey); the CEO and founder of Atlas, supervision.

You will be playing as Jack Mitchell, and will suit up in an advanced exoskeleton and will join a highly-trained unit to restore order.

This game will not use a traditional heads-up display like the previous installment, instead, all information will be relayed to the player via holographic projections from the weapon equipped. However, the general gun-play remains unchanged, apart from new equipment.

Regarding the audio, Don Veca assured the players to be able to feel that they are part of the game:

"It goes through your body, into your bones, and your skull. You hear it in your ear, and it sounds completely different," Veca says in EDGE magazine, talking in-detail about the aftermath from firing a gun in-game.

Saying that audio doesn't come last as it did in previous titles, Glen Schofield says "We make sure that audio is just as important as anything else and Don's in there from the start with us."

Another accomplishment by Sledgehammer in Advance Warfare were the facial animating system and the set, which is the same as James Cameron's Avatar 2.

According to Activision, Advanced Warfare developer Sledgehammer Games was able to create a 'near photorealistic' world unlike any Call of Duty before. Furthermore, Michael Condrey also confirmed in a tweet that Advanced Warfare will feature female soldiers in Multiplayer.

In an issue of MCV Online Magazine it was confirmed that Sledgehammer Games will be releasing Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions only of Advance Warfare. And that High Moon Studios, the team behind the Deadpool video game and Transformers games, is working on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions.

Call of Duty: Advance Warfare is set to be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in November 3, 2014 (Day Zero Edition) on North America, November 4, 2014 for international version and November 13, 2014 on Japan.
