The Woman In Black: Angel Of Death To Be Released On January 2015: Will It Surpass The $120 Million Gross Of The Original Film?

The Woman in Black: Angel of Death is an upcoming 2015 British horror film, directed by Tom Harper and written by Jon Croker and Susan Hill. The original which was directed by James Watkins has become the highest grossing British horror film of the past 20 years, earning over $33 million in the U.K. and more than the $120 million box office mark worldwide.

The movie is the sequel to the 2012 film, The Woman in Black, which is produced by Hammer Film Productions and Entertainment One.

The story will develop after bombs rain down on London during the Blitz of World War II. Where a group of schoolchildren evacuated with Eve, their young and beautiful schoolteacher, to the safety of the English countryside. They went to an old and empty estate; cut-off by a causeway from the mainland, they are left at Eel Marsh House.

One by one, the children began acting strangely and Eve, with the help of local military commander Harry (Jeremy Irvine), discovers that the group has awoken a dark force even more terrifying and evil than the city's air raids. Eve must now confront her own demons in order to save the children and survive the woman in black.

Movie cast are Helen McCrory as Jean Hogg, Jeremy Irvine as Harry Burnstow, Adrian Rawlins as Dr. Rhodes, Oaklee Pendergast as Edward, Ned Dennehy as Old Hermit Jacob, Leilah de Meza as Ruby, Claire Rafferty as Clara, Jude Wright as Tom, Phoebe Fox as Eve Parkins, Amelia Pidgeon as Joyce, Pip Pearce as James, Alfie Simmons as Alfie, Casper Allpress as Fraser and Amelia Crouch as Flora. While the Woman in Black will be portrayed by actress Leanne Best.

According to reports, release date is originally set on January 30, 2015 but due to some circumstances, the film has been moved up to 2 January 2015.
