‘Mass Effect 4’ Release Date, Characters, Story And News: Comic-Con 2014 Reveals Massive Development Details; Fans May Have To Wait A Little Longer

Almost two years in development, finally news on video game "Mass Effect 4" surfaces online following information gathered from Comic-Con 2014. Release date, characters and story information shared by creators.

After the last installment of "Mass Effect", news that development on "Mass Effect 4" ensued right after. However, two years into the development and its previously announced release date of December 2014 obviously isn't going to happen.

"Mass Effect 4" release date speculations point to October 2015. Pretty long wait, but updates reveal that this is all worth it upon the "Mass Effect 4" release date.

During the San Diego Comic-Con 2014, news that more details of "Mass Effect 4" were revealed by creators from BioWare. Apart from release date, characters and story were shared with the excited fans eager to hear more of the upcoming "Mass Effect 4."

The team composed of producers and artists confirmed during the interview that the hero character for "Mass Effect 4" indeed will be human. Although stating clearly the "Mass Effect 4" story will not be on character Shepard, the characters of course will be connected to him/her. News on the story reveals it will be brand new, the setting will be during the lifetime of previous hero character, Shepard - although in a possibly different galaxy.

According to news online, another "character" returning is the vehicle known as Mako. Producer Mike Gamble explains further, "We're playing around with a bunch of different physics for the Mako. It's meant to be a fast, point to point vehicle at this point. It's something that you can tear around planets in really quick to get to where you need to go."

Gamble shares the importance of Mako to "Mass Effect 4" upon its release date saying, "The Mako is going to be fundamental to the game. We're making a game about exploring places and obviously exploring places needs a really, really handy vehicle."

After the developments announced during Comic-Con 2014, BioWare also reveals that "Mass Effect 4" remains in 50% development, and there's more to do. Hopefully, the 2015 "Mass Effect 4" release date is finalized soon. And although creators are saying that "Mass Effect 4" wouldn't be the next title, fans argue that unless they are shared more detail, "Mass Effect 4" will be the title they are to wait for.
