Boxing phenom Manny Pacquiao has been rumored to have joined Sylvester Stallone and the rest of the cast of "Expendables 4."

While there has been no official confirmation or denial about the rumors and speculations, VCPost claimed that the sequel to the hit action movie franchise is going to start production soon after the highly anticipated Manny Pacquiao - Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight on May 2.

Reportedly, the eight-division world boxing champion already accepted the role of a "vicious rebel general" offered to him by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone during the fighter's previous fight in Macau.

Jean Claude-Van Damme and Terry Crews, are supposedly glad to hear that the 36-year-old boxer is going to join the cast of "Expendables 4."

In addition to Manny Pacquiao, Justin Bieber, WWE legend Hulk Hogan and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson are all rumored to join the cast as well.

Expendables Premiere revealed that the 61-year-old legendary wrestler is going to be included in the lineup.

"Hulk Hogan is expected to visit Bulgaria for filming action movie " The Expendables 4," the entertainment site claimed.

The publication also noted that Hogan previously took to Twitter to announce his involvement in the upcoming action movie.

"Brother, they already had the actors. Relax, I'm in the fourth part," he allegedly tweeted, answering a fan who asked him why he's not in the third installment.

While, The Rock had openly expressed his desire to join "Expendables 4" cast but insisted that he wants to become a villain instead of becoming a part of the team.

"I don't want to be on their team and be buddies with them," he told a fan who asked him if he's interested in an "Expendables" film during an AMA on Reddit. "F**k that noise. I want to hunt every single one of them down and tell them to 'send your soul to heaven cause your ass is mine.'"

Director Patrick Hughes and Sylvester Stallone, who both did not comment about the casting news have both discussed a possible plot for the upcoming "Expendables 4."

Hughes who was previously interviewed by Crave Online admitted that he already talked to Sly about a possible new twist in the sequel's plot.

"Seriously, if you're going to do a number four, break outside the box," he said of his conversation with Stallone. "Let's do something really different."

Adding, "I was like, 'You need to add a level of sci-fi.' So it's an action sci-fi. The slant of the sci-fi is something to do with a time machine, where they go through some void, right? And The Expendables land on the beach on D-Day, and it's them sweeping the Nazis out of France!"

While Stallone acknowleged the idea, he insisted that a "time-travel" twist is not what's on his mind, but he promised that it will just be as exciting.

"I have actually entertained the idea of putting the group into such an unnatural environment that it, in an of itself, creates extra suspense and tension: the 'fish out of water scenario," the 68-year-old veteran actor explained. "That environment might not be time travel, but nearly just as jarring."
