"Beauty And The Beast" star Emma Watson made it to Time's 100 Most Influential People this year not just for her films but for her advocacies as well. She is seen as one of the most beautiful, smartest and principled actresses in Hollywood today and she's not even 30 yet.

She has several movies lined up for the next couple of years but she's also very active in promoting feminism and gender equality. Her vehement fight for gender equality endeared her to people all over the world.

Despite being paid a huge sum for her role as Hermione Granger in the "Harry Potter" franchise, she still chose to go to university and work for a degree in English Literature. The money she received, which was enough to give her an early retirement, was invested into studying at Brown University.

As an actress, "Beauty And The Beast" star Emma Watson is larger than life but as a Brown student, she reportedly lived a normal college life.

A former schoolmate at Brown shared some of her favorite memories of the "Harry Potter" star.

"She stopped by for one of my spoken-word poetry group's meetings, where a freshman read a poem comparing his loneliness to waiting endlessly in bed for someone to tuck him in," Suzannah Weiss shared in a post on Thought Catalog. "She raised her hand, as if in class, and told the poet that she can relate and has learned that you can't love someone else until you love yourself, so if you rely on someone else to tuck you in at night, they probably won't - but that's okay, because you can. Following a convention in spoken-word poetry, we all snapped our fingers in appreciation."

Weiss also asked 10 of Watson's former Brown schoolmates to share their own encounters with the mega star.

Anecdotes about the UN Ambassador for women include not being recognized by her teacher, looking "fabulous" in a skintight Catwoman outfit at a Halloween party, having "super perfect" eyebrows and "adamantly" cheering for the Brown University field hockey team.

All these stories portrayed that the HeForShe campaign starter basically lead a normal college life in the Rhode Island-based school.

"Beauty And The Beast" star Emma Watson graduated from the Ivy League university last year. She is now currently busy preparing to become Belle in Disney's live adaptation of the classic fairy tale as well as fighting for equal rights for all genders all over the world.
