There were rumors coming out that Chris Pratt and Channing Tatum will star in the male version of "Ghostbusters" remake. However, the "Guardians of the Galaxy" star denied the reports. During an interview with GQ, the 35-year-old actor was asked if he will be appearing in the reboot.

"No one has ever even spoken to me about that. Never," he said. Chris Pratt even admitted that he had seen Channing Tatum a couple of times, but the "Jupiter Ascending" star never mentioned that project to him. "As far as I know, that's complete bulls-t," Anna Faris' husband said.

Director Paul Feig is currently filming "Ghostbusters 3", which features an all-female lead cast which includes Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy. Both actresses have worked with the filmmaker before in "Bridesmaids."

According to Bad Ass Digest, the "Jurassic World" actor and the "Magic Mike" star have pitched the idea of having a male version to Sony Pictures. The studio hasn't confirmed yet if Chris and Channing will headline the reboot, but a leaked email from their executives is a strong proof of their involvement in the new movie.

Apart from the Hollywood hunks, Joe and Anthony Russo will also be part of "Ghostbusters 3" male version, or it may also be called "Ghostbusters 4." The Daily Beast published the Sony leaked email that talks about the remake. "The Russos, Channing and Reid have been brainstorming ideas and want to create a whole new mythology that would support multiple movies (the way that Nolan reinvented Batman)," Columbia's Hannah Minghella allegedly wrote to Sony execs.

"To be clear - the Russos want to produce (not direct) and while Channing and Chris are looking for a movie to do together they haven't mentioned this to him yet because they weren't sure how we'd react," she added.

Sony hasn't addressed any of these rumors yet, but many fans would definitely want to see Chris Pratt and Channing Tatum in the new "Ghostbusters" movie.
