'Digimon Adventure Tri' Release Date Is Not Happening Anytime Soon! Plot To Feature Adult Cast

Unfortunately, "Digimon Adventure Tri" release date did not happen in April.

However, before fans could start to worry about the anime's fate, Christian Today reported that the first epsode titled, "Reunion" will be instead be released on Nov. 21, 2015.

While the release date has been confirmed, the publication added that "Digimon Adventure Tri" will feature the original characters headed by Taichi "Tai" Kamiya  as young adults.

The announcement was reportedly made on May 6.

"On Wednesday, May 6th, we're going to get the first promotional video for the new Digimon cartoon, along with a complete voice cast and airing schedule! The details come from here, but it's all in Japanese," the publication revealed.

In addition Anime News Network  reported that new "Digimon Adventure Tri" character designs were already unveiled featuring Yamato Ishida and Gabumon, who are both returning to the Japanese anime series.

While more details about the anime have remained to be shrouded in secrecy, IGN reported that the anime's original voice actors are all returning to reprise their roles in the sequel.

"We've got our first look at the Digimon in Digimon Adventure Tri, and now have official confirmation that the original Japanese voice cast will return," the publication claimed.
