Why Does Hilary Duff ‘Commend’ Miley Cyrus? ‘Sparks’ Singer Going On Tour For ‘Breathe In, Breathe Out’!

Both Hilary Duff and Miley Cyrus grew up around fame and fortune, gaining fans from their respective Disney shows, but that's where the similarities seem to end.

Duff, who now has a three-year-old son, seemed to have taken the more decent route after becoming extremely famous in her teen years. Like the "Hannah Montana" star, she also pursued her music career after starring in "Lizzie McGuire".

However, the "Sparks" singer chose to settle down with Mike Comrie and take care of her family for a couple of years. On the other hand, Cyrus totally changed her image with controversial songs and provocative clothing.

Despite people's negative opinion of Miley Cyrus, Hillary Duff still commends the 22-year-old singer and actress.

"This industry is a tough one to crack, but then I look at someone like Miley, and as crazy as people might think the whole thing is, I commend her," the "So Yesterday" singer told PrideSource in an interview.

She added that Cyrus is "so wholeheartedly being herself and is unapologetic about that and she's doing a great job."

Duff also thinks the "Wrecking Ball" hitmaker is "wickedly talented".

"As much as people wanna hate on her for wearing this or doing that or whatever it is people hate on her for, I think she gets the last laugh. At the end of the day, her talent backs it all up," she gushed.

"I don't always relate to everything that she's doing, but I love that she's unapologetically herself," Hilary Duff continued to compliment Miley Cyrus.

Meanwhile, Duff's new album, "Breathe In, Breathe Out" is already out on iTunes. When asked if she will go on tour for the record, the "Chasing The Sun" singer revealed that she might be going a world tour.

Considering her son, she would most likely have to schedule the tour a month at a time.

"And it'll have to be a world tour because some of my biggest markets are in South America and Australia and Asia, so we'll see," she shared. "No promises, but that's what I want to happen."
