Great food is always reflected from great kitchens, and as "MasterChef Asia" prepares to kick-off its first season this September, it is giving away a prize that you should look forward to.

The official Facebook page of "MasterChef Asia" recently announced that it is giving out a kitchen makeover worth $7,000 to the lucky winner of their online contest.

The show asked interested participants to submit a photo of themselves with the dish that best represents their countries to get a chance to win the kitchen makeover. They should also share some details why they chose that particular dish.

Interested participants will be asked to fill out an online form which will require information about their names, address, nationality and about their chosen dish.

Whether it is a Japanese sushi, a Singaporean laksa soup, or a Filipino adobo, snapping a photo of you enjoying your favorite dish will give you a chance to win the kitchen makeover worth $7,000.

The winner of the contest will be announced in the airing of "MasterChef Asia" on September 3, the Facebook page said.

As the first franchise in the region, "MasterChef Asia" is reportedly highlighting the best of Asian dishes, made by home cooks coming from different backgrounds. Among them are full-time moms, entrepreneurs and models.

Some of those competing is this handsome engineer from Singapore named Lennard Yeong, a paralegal professional from the Philippines Rico Amancio.

Fifteen home cooks will compete for the title of the first "MasterChef Asia." Several winners of the show's other franchises took this opportunity to open more doors in their dreams to become a renowned restaurateur.

"MasterChef Asia" features judges Susur Lee, Audra Morrice and Bruno Menard who will embark on a taste test of the home cook's dishes and determine the winner.

The show is set to begin airing on September 3 on Lifetime Channel.
