Kit Harington’s Jon Snow Has A Twin Sister? New Theory Could Make His Character Stay Dead!

Months after that heartbreaking scene in the "Game Of Thrones" season 5 finale, a lot of fans are still in denial of Kit Harington's famed character Jon Snow's death in HBO's epic fantasy series.

Previous theories about Jon Snow's parentage, warg powers (mostly in the books), and even Melissandre's presence in Castle Black during his death, suggest that the curly-haired Lord Commander of the Night's Watch might not be going gently into that goodnight. The actor himself has also been seen hanging around Belfast with his fellow cast mates in the past couple of weeks.

While the great debate is still ongoing, a Reddit user, ghostchief, added another theory to the mix. According to his thoughts about a possible flashback of Ned Stark meeting a dying Lyanna in the Tower Of Joy, there might be more than one baby crying at that time.

Mashable reported that ghostchief "predicted that the opening scene of Series 6 would feature a flashback to Ned Stark finding a dying Lyanna in the Tower of Joy."

If the first theory is true, then Ned would see Lyanna's baby, supporting the R (Rheagar Targaryen) + L (Lyanna Stark)=J (Jon Snow) theory.

In the new speculation, ghostchief thinks that Ned was distracted by the "cries of a baby girl," soon hypothesizing it to be Jon's twin sister. Fans took it a step further and named Meera Reed, daughter of Howland Reed, who was the only other bannerman who survived the fight with Ned.

Mashable continued to state that both Jon and Meera were born in the same year that Lyanna died. What does this entail for Kit Harington's beloved Jon Snow?

Realty Today suggested that Jon's death could very well become permanent now with another possible Targaryen in the mix. She might just "eclipse" Jon Snow's worth as the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. Ghostchief, meanwhile, denied mentioning Meera as Jon's possible twin sister.

On the other hand, there has been no definite news of Ellie Kendrick (who plays Meera) being spotted in Belfast recently. However, Isaac Hempstead Wright has been seen around the filming location and confirmed to come back next season.

Do you think the R+L=J+M theory is possible? Or is Kit Harington's Jon Snow character still the only possible Azor Ahai?
