‘Agent Carter’ Season 2 Spoilers: Lyndsy Fonseca Has ‘No Word’ On Angie’s Return; Fans Upset

Fans have been eagerly waiting for news on Angie's return to "Agent Carter" season 2 and actress Lyndsy Fonseca now has some spoilers.

Unfortunately, it's not really good news. Fonseca took to Twitter last week saying even she is in the dark on whether or not Peggy's BFF will move to Los Angeles with her.

"This could mean that when Peggy moves to Hollywood, her closest best friend and potential love interest might stay in New York City when 'Agent Carter' season 2 premieres this winter," Design & Trend said.

Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter), James D'Arcy (Edwin Jarvis), Dominic Cooper (Howard Stark), Chad Michael Murray (Jack Thompson), Enver Gjokaj (Daniel Sousa), Bridget Regan (Dottie Underwood) have all been confirmed to reprise their roles next season.

The 28-year-old actress' Angie Martinelli is a favorite among fans and is known for being Peggy's closest confidant in season one. As a result, fans didn't welcome the uncertainty of her return in the show.

Many are calling for her return spawning the Twitter hashtags #BringBackAngie and #SaveAngie.

Some even blamed Marvel for the spoilers. Still, there were a few who hoped to see Angie again in future seasons of "Agent Carter."

With Angie possibly not returning for season 2, some have speculated that newcomer Lotte Verbeek, who has been cast as Ana Jarvis, will fill in the void as Peggy's friend, as Franchise Herald previously reported.

Other newcomers to the show include Wynn Everett (villain Whitney Frost/Madame Masque), Currie Graham (Frost's husband Calvin Chadwick) and Reggie Austin (scientist Jason Wilkes). Some speculate that Austin's character is Peggy's new love interest teased for next season.

"Agent Carter" season 2 isn't expected to premiere until the midseason. That's still plenty of time for more spoilers to come, including confirmation on Angie's fate.
