T-Mobile Launches New Unlimited Talk and Text Phone Plan Sunday

T-Mobile customers and other interested parties can take advantage of the mobile carrier's endless talk and text plan with money upfront beginning Sunday the TMO blog reported Friday.

"We wanted to provide an additional service option for customers who don't have a need for data," the company said in a statement on its website. "This Sunday, Dec. 8, T-Mobile will begin offering a limited-time $35 Unlimited Talk & Text monthly Pay-in-Advance option in all its sales channels. This is designed for those customers who want unlimited minutes and texting on T-Mobile's nationwide network, but are looking to spend less."

Consumers can get unlimited talk, text, and web access on their phone for $50. 4G speeds are also available for the users first 500MB).

Those wanting faster data can do for connections up to 2.5 gigabytes for $70. Data without any limitations costs $70.

Phones bought at Wal-Mart, or turned on via T-Mobile.com have endless web and text with 100 minutes to talk for $30.

Phones bought in store are eligible for a 1500 talk and text option on 30 megabytes of data.

"This plan is designed for those customers looking to spend less, but still want to enjoy the benefits of having an unlimited offering," Cam Bunton said on the TMO blog. "Having an additional rate plan option for our non-data consuming customers allows another opportunity to meet the needs of our customers this holiday season.

The news is the latest development since other mobile carriers are offering their customers and new users more plans in time for the holidays.

(T-Mobile was) just at the bleeding edge because they needed to be," Jeff Kagan, a wireless industry analyst told The Washington Post. "I don't think AT&T's following them, but they're all heading in that same general direction: giving customers more choice."

T-Mobile has 130 million customers throughout the world according to information on its website.
