In a separate Facebook post, Mark Zuckerberg said it is his and Priscilla Chan's way of highlighting "personalized learning," a major focus in their advocacy.

"Our major focus in education is personalized learning. That means supporting the development of schools, teachers and technology," the Facebook chief explained.
