NBA Trade Rumor: Dallas Mavericks Showing Interest On Chicago Bulls Star Joakim Noah

Nov 25, 2015 11:27 PM EST | By Rolly Gacelo

The NBA trade rumor mill is rolling again and this time, it is Dallas Mavericks working behind.

Reports have it that the Texas-based NBA team is looking for a trade with Chicago Bulls for the services of center Joakim Noah.

"Coming off the bench this year, Noah has averaged just three points and 8.5 rebounds a game. His shooting percentages have been noticeably horrendous. Noah's shooting 34 percent from the field and a dreadful 31 percent from the line, yet apparently, the Dallas Mavericks are interested in acquiring the 30-year-old big man," Fan Sided suggests.

This NBA trade rumor sounds reasonable. Dallas failed to get a legit center during the offseason after DeAndre decided to dishonor verbal deal with Marc Cuban at the last minute.

Their frontcourt is currently depleted with only Zaza Pachulia being the man on the paint. Pachuliza is fourth in the team when it comes to scoring and is first in terms of rebounding.

The team also got Javale McGee on the disposal and although he impressed in his debut for his new team, Fan Sided said player of Noah's caliber will still come handy come playoff time.

"Actually, the Mavs have gotten off to a wonderfully surprising 8-4 start as Matthews looks like his old self as does Parsons," the sports website wrote. "Despite this, it will still be hard to make the playoffs without another dominant big. Both McGee and Pachulia aren't starters on a good team. Which is where Noah comes in."

Noah, as well as the whole of Chicago Bulls, have been part of NBA trade rumors, lately. Reports say coach Fred Hoiberg is looking for a younger player that will replace the former Defensive Player of the Year.

"Noah is getting older and losing that energy he used to always play with. He also doesn't seem to fit into the offensive direction the Bulls are moving in. The Bulls could trade him while he still has some value around the league," a Bulls dedicated blog called Pippen Ain't Easy wrote a few weeks ago.
