Lorde Expresses Her Love For Kpop Again! Wants To ‘Hug’ 2NE1's Leader CL!

Grammy awardee Lorde is just the latest artist applauding Kpop star CL for her new song, "Hello B-s." Could they end up collaborating sometime in the future?

The "Royals" hitmaker shared her love for the fierce 2NE1 leader on Twitter last week, following Justin Bieber's public acknowledgement that the song was "dope."

Lorde apparently felt the same way as she showered the fierce singer with several compliments.

"So into this performance - i wish western award shows were like this!! Amazing to see parris/reQuest as well as 2NE1," the "Pure Heroine" singer tweeted last week.

She was talking about CL's performance during the Mnet Asian Music Awards last week where 2NE1, which had been on hiatus of more than a year, also made a surprise appearance.

She didn't stop there. Lorde also admitted that she's personally a huge fan of the artist.

"Obsessed with CL she is so sweet and cool and tough and 100% a star," she posted.

The South Korean rapper caught wind of the mention and replied with a "THANK YOU."

"You are the best i hope we get to hug one day," Lorde responded.

This isn't the first instance that the New Zealand-born singer-songwriter shared his love for Kpop. She reportedly loved CL's labelmate Lee Hi's soulful voice and even wanted to collaborate with her on a song.

"Personally, I really like K-Pop groups. I particularly like the musician Lee Hi. I want to try a collaboration with Lee Hi. I also like 2NE1," she previously shared in an interview with Universal Music (via SBS Pop Asia) in 2013. She also sang a bit of "1,2,3,4," Lee's debut song.

"It is because their melodies and songs are very interesting," she added. "Their melodies are a lot more charming than the Western pop which I grew up listening to. If it is pop music, it should be to that extent."

She also mentioned wanting a dancing lesson from Girls Generation.
