It is sad for many to see one character bid the show goodbye. "Agents of SHIELD" season 3 fall finale episode saw one former friend turned mortal enemy get killed by Agent Coulson himself.
Since the day the show revealed his true roots, there is no turning back for Agent Ward (Brett Dalton) and after the latest horrible thing he did, SHIELD has no other choice but to kill him.
He will come back though. However, he is no longer the Ward people knew. He's even more dangerous.
While the original Agents of SHIELD has been broken for good, another group is rising. For the first time, superpowered Daisy, Lincoln, and Joey got to work together. Though some of them are still uncomfortable with what the gift they possess, they got the job done.
Executive producer Jeff Bell said the assembly of this inhumans in "Agents of SHIELD" season 3 fall finale episode signals the start of something many Marvel fans are waiting for - the Secret Warriors.
"I would say it's certainly a warning shot over the bow," Bell told Comicbook.com when asked to confirm if the three will be the pioneer of the show's version of Secret Warriors.
"They certainly came in and were helpful. It was the first time that they were put together in some kind of meaningful way, and I would say just keep looking forward to more of that as we ... I think we, as writers on the show, feel like we have to earn this group."
Bell said forming the group will not be easy but they are definitely headed that path.
"It wasn't just like everybody who had a power could suddenly get a cool uniform and be part of a team, you have to figure out how to do that. Yeah, we're moving in that direction."
In the comics, one of the original members of Secret Warriors is Daisy who in the show is played by Chloe Bennet and has been in the ABC TV series since the first season. Lincoln and Joey joined the show in second and third season, respectively.
