[WATCH] ‘Forza Motorsport 6’ Mobil 1 Car Pack DLC Adds Legendary Cars; Content Update Rolls Out

Dec 10, 2015 12:30 PM EST | By Jason Fonbuena

"Forza Motorsport 6" adds more legendary cars with this month's Mobil 1 Car Pack DLC as well as new features and bug fixes with a content update.

Earlier this month, the Xbox One racing game rolled out the Mobil 1 Car Pack.

"This pack includes seven cars that offer completely different driving experiences," Turn 10 Studios said.

Leading the latest car pack DLC is the 2015 Koenigsegg One:1. Strange as the Swedish hypercar's name might be, it does allude to an impressive feat - that of achieving a 1:1 power-to-weight ratio.

"That's 1,341 hp (when running on E85) in a vehicle that weighs just 1,360 kg with all fluids and a half tank of fuel," the developer said.

The One:1 reportedly goes from 0 to 250 mph in 20 seconds and onto a theoretical 273 mph top speed.

Also in this month's "Forza Motorsport 6" DLC is the 2016 Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Coupé. Though it won't go on sale until next year, players will get first crack at the 503-horsepower twin-turbo V8 German beast.

Other cars included in the Mobil 1 Car Pack are the 1990 Chevrolet #30 Douglas Shierson Racing Lola T90/00, 1963 Ferrari 250LM, 1988 Holden VL Commodore Group A SV, 1991 Mazda #62 Mazda Motorsport RX-7 and 1958 Plymouth Fury made famous in the film "Christine."

The DLC is available for free to those who purchased the $29.99 "FM6" Car Pass or for $6.99 separately, according to IGN. As the website pointed out, this is the third out of six monthly car pack to roll out.

In related news, players can now choose car divisions in Freeplay mode thanks to this month's content update. Other new features include the damage tab on telemetry now showing fuel level and various car adjustments.
