Dec 14, 2015 12:16 PM EST | By Romeo Vasquez

Saudi Arabia Prince Alwaleed bin Talal called U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump a disgrace to his country after Trump called for a ban on Muslims entering the U.S. following the deadly shootings in California by two Muslims.

"Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on," Trump's campaign press release on Monday said (via CNN).

Trump said that his comments and his proposed measures are necessary so as to prevent the radical Islamic terrorism in the U.S. The press release, however, made a global uproar and is being reviled by many for his "racist" and "insensitive" comments on Monday. One of them is the Saudi Arabia billionaire and Crown Prince Alwaleed bin Talal who took to Twitter and addressed Donald Trump and the Republican Party.

The Saudi Arabia prince posted, addressing Trump: "You are a disgrace not only to the GOP but to all America."

"Withdraw from the U.S. presidential race as you will never win," the prince added.

Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, the nephew of Saudi Arabia King Salman, is the chairman of Kingdom Holding. He also has holdings in Twitter and Citigroup. He ranks No. 34 in Forbes' overall list of the world's 100 richest individuals with a wealth amounting to $24 billion.

On Dec. 12, shortly after the Twitter post of the Saudi Arabia Crown Prince, Donald Trump took to Twitter his response for the Saudi billionaire. Trump posted: "Dopey Prince @Alwaleed_Talal wants to control our U.S. politicians with daddy's money. Can't do it when I get elected. #Trump2016"

And amid the backlash over his Muslim ban comments, Donald Trump recently said that he is still winning the presidential race. He said (via The Guardian), "We have people talking, I will tell you that. And we have them talking very positively. Because people are saying 'You know, Trump is right... Trump has a point."
