The directorial debut of actress Elizabeth Banks for "Pitch Perfect" in 2012 proves to be one of the many sleeper hits for musical movie fans worldwide. The sequel to the movie, "Pitch Perfect 2" which will be made by the same director incite so many speculations, plot- and scoring-wise online and audiences can't seem to wait.

"Pitch Perfect" is a musical comedy showcasing university based a Capella groups, focusing on The Barden Bellas. Freshman Beca Mitchell (Anna Kendrick) brings the ensemble together, pitching in her fresh ideas for the all-girl group. The movie tackles issues as Man vs. himself, and Man vs. Man in a light, witty, and melodious approach that is appealing to audiences both young and young at heart.

The success of the first movie where it is recorded as second highest grossing musical comedy movie since "School Of Rock", paved the way for the sequel. Not to mention numerous fan-made "trailers" on what should follow the first movie, producers and the director saw the people yearning to make "Pitch Perfect 2".
