Chick-fil-A launched a modified, unique-grade coffee to the brand's over 1,800 units locally.

The food chain based in Atlanta, is partnering with Thrive Farmers Coffee as their main supplier of the beverage. This new offer is the first of the brand's option in their menu. And the new beverage must meet the criteria set by Specialty Coffee Association of America, the group responsible for setting standards of brewing coffee.

"We have received feedback from our followers, and they wanted us to offer new variety to our menu, which is serving new-grade coffee and we have found the perfect partner to this new venture. The real factor of this new business partnership is that we share similar belief in the business which at the end of the day we all are going to aim. At present we are able to offer to consumers good quality of coffee," as the vice president of David Farmer quoted.

Thrive Farmers will sign the contract with farmers and farmers' groups that satisfies Chick-fil-A's specified standards and pays the farmers as soon as the Chick-fil-A gets the finished products. There are no additional costs from the restaurant brand and this gives the chance to the farmers to earn more from the coffee that they are supplying to the fast food chain.

Chick-fil-A claimed that the blend has been designed only for them which is mix of medium roast packed with caramel, cocoa, citrus flavor. This makes it unique from other food chains that offer coffee in their menu.

Prices of their coffee are very reasonable. It starts from $1.59 for the hot beverage. Cold brewed version is also sold at $2.29 for 16oz. and $2.59 for 20oz. The col drink is sweetened mixed cane syrup and milk, which makes it more irresistible.

Despite being first local food brand to launch the coffee, there are also other food chain that launch their own blend of coffee in their menu. McDonald's has their McCafe beverage options, Burger King offered coffee blends as well. These are some of the names that ventured coffee in their menu.
